Dua Ganjeena Israr ilahi
DUA GANJEENA ISRAR ILAHI
Once Prophet Muhammad (saw) was sitting in Masjid - e - Nabawi in deep thought. When he came out of it, he saw that the Shaytan was standing beside him.
He asked the Shaytan what an evil-doer like him doing here?
Every man is attached to the one who resembles him. Every bird follows his own kind. Those of the same nature are inclined to each other. The good follow the good. The evil follow the evil. – Hazrat Ali
To this the Shaytan replied that; he is not an evil-doer but a do-gooder and he will be forgiven by Allah because he knows Dua Ganjeena Israr Ilahi. And, Allah has promised that whoever knows this dua by heart will be forgiven.
At that time, Angel Jibreel appeared before Prophet Muhammad (saw) and said that; whatever Shaytan has just said about this dua is true. But Allah will make Shaytan forget this dua before the Day of Judgement.
Ya Ilahal Ba-shar Wa Ajeemal Khatar Wa Ya Saree'az-Faree
Wa Ya Ma' rufal A-sari Wa Ya Azeeza Al Manna Wa Maaliki
Yaumad-deenee Bi-hakik Wa Iyyaka Na'budu
Wa Iyyaka Nasta-een Birahmatika Ya Arhamar-rahimeen
