PROTECTION FROM SHAYTAN'S WHISPERS
The dua for protection from Shaytan's whispers (waswaas) should be recited before the start of Salat:
Rabbi A'uzubika Min Hamazatish Shayaateen Wa A'uzubika Rabbi An Yahzuroon
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the whisperings of the Shayateen
And I seek refuge in You, O Allah, lest they be present with me.
[Surah Muminoon,97-98]
Benefits:
- It protects against Shaytan who whispers in the ears of the worshiper to distract him so that he forgets the rakat.
- It can also be recited anytime to ward off evil suggestions and insinuations whispered by Shaytan.
One should seek refuge in Allah from the mischiefs of Shayateen, because nothing can be done against them. No method can prove helpful in protecting oneself from them.
