DUAS FOR RAMAZAN
Ramazan is a wonderful blessing that Allah has bestowed on us. It is not just a month, but an excellent opportunity that we have got to improve our spiritual lives, seek forgiveness for our sins, and come closer to Allah.
Allah says:
“O you who believe, fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may attain taqwa.”
[Surah Baqarah 2:183]
And about Ramazan specifically:
“The month of Ramazan in which the Qur’an was revealed, a guidance for mankind…”
[Surah Baqarah 2:185]
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (saw) said, “When the month of Ramazan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained.”
[Sahih Bukhari 1899, Sahih Muslim 1079]
This establishes Ramazan’s unique spiritual status.

or
La ilaha illallahu Asthaghfirullah as'alukal jannata wa 'auzubika minan-nar (3-times)
I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, O Allah! forgive me, I ask You for Paradise, and I seek refuge with You from the Hellfire.
I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, O Allah! forgive me, I ask You for Paradise, and I seek refuge with You from the Hellfire.
Ramazan is not transformed by hunger.
It is transformed by sincerity.
If fasting doesn't soften the heart, increase repentance, and improve character, then we've merely abstained from food, not purified the soul.
The Prophet (saw) warned:
“Whoever does not leave false speech and acting upon it, Allah has no need of him leaving his food and drink.”
[Sahih Bukhari 1903]
Ramazan is an opportunity.
But it is also a test of sincerity.
Note on Ashra Duas
These duas are not prescribed or specified in the original Hadith as Ashra Duas. They are general duas focused on mercy, forgiveness, and protection, all encouraged during Ramazan. You may recite them voluntarily, remembering that no specific wording or number is obligatory unless proven by an authentic source.
