Protection from Hellfire
PROTECTION FROM HELLFIRE
Protection from the fire of hell is one of the most important objectives in Islam.
One should seek refuge in Allah SWT from the fire of hell and also pray for forgiveness of one's sins. One may recite acceptance of repentance dua for Allah to accept his sincere prayers for forgiveness.
Anas bin Malik reported that Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: Whoever asks Allah SWT Paradise three times, Paradise says: 'O Allah, admit him into Paradise’, and whoever seeks refuge from the Fire three times, the Fire says: ‘O Allah, save him from the Fire.’

Recite the following dua for protection from Hellfire 7 times after Fajr and Maghrib salaat:
اَللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ
Allahumma Ajirni Minan Naar
O Allah, save me from the fire (Jahannam).
Umm Habibah, the wife of Prophet Muhammad (saw) narrated that:
She heard Allah's Messenger (saw) saying: "Whoever maintains four Rakaahs before Zuhr and four after it, Allah makes him prohibited for the Fire."

Life is a test and most people take it lightly. People are more attracted towards worldly things and keep themselves busy by spending more time with them.
Because of this, not much attention is paid to the afterlife. However, before death comes, we must prepare for it.
