Dua Astaghfar (Prophet Adam)

Prophet Adam (A.S), when sent on earth, wept profusely for many years seeking Allah's forgiveness in his prayers. 

One day he remembered that when he was being expelled from Jannat, he saw the name of Prophet Muhammad (saw) written on the door of the Jannat along with the name of Allah. 

Thinking that it must be someone special whom Allah has written along with His name, he prayed to Allah for forgiveness saying that, may Allah forgive him for the love of Prophet Muhammad (saw). Allah heard his prayer and forgave him.

                                                         رَبَّنَا ظَلَمۡنَاۤ اَنۡفُسَنَا وَاِنۡ لَّمۡ تَغۡفِرۡ لَـنَا وَتَرۡحَمۡنَا لَـنَكُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡخٰسِرِيۡنَ
