DUA AFTER READING QUR'AN
The Qur'an is the final revelation of Allah, revealed through the Angel Jibreel to Prophet Muhammad (saw) 1400 years ago.
The Qur'an, an eternal book of Allah's mercy and guidance, serves as a source of light for all who read it, believe in it and follow its teachings.
Its verses offer profound wisdom, bringing tranquillity to the mind, healing to the body, and peace to the soul.
Regularly reciting it strengthens faith, increases understanding of life's purpose and inspires hope in the face of challenges.
By reflecting on its divine message, believers find clarity, moral guidance and a path to spiritual success.
Prophet Mohammad (saw) said, "Reading Qur'an brings the reader closer to Allah."
[Tirmidhi]
Hazrat Umar (r.a) used to recite this dua after reading the Qur'an:
O Allah! whatever I recite from Your Book (Qur'an), give me strength to ponder over it. O Allah! give me an understanding of it, I will be thankful to understand its meaning and find its strange and unique things and as long as I live, I may continue to implement it. Of course, You have control over everything.
Regular recitation and reflection can transform your life with countless benefits of reading the Qur'an and help you attain peace, guidance, and blessings.
